Graduate Developer

Aarhus, with remote days · Full-time, 37 hours per week

Statera is a Danish software company building a web-native platform for authoring, tagging and filing financial reports. We help accountants and businesses go from bookkeeping data to finished, compliant annual reports, including iXBRL/XBRL filing, in one modern tool.

We're looking for a newly graduated developer who wants to build a product from the inside, write code that ships to production every week, and grow into real ownership of a SaaS platform used by paying customers.

What you'll work on

You'll join our small product team and work across the whole Statera platform:

Frontend in SvelteKit, TypeScript and Tailwind
Backend in Python with FastAPI and Polars
Integrations with accounting systems such as e-conomic and Dinero
Report generation, financial calculations and iXBRL/XBRL output
AI-powered features that help users write and review their reports

You'll work closely with the founders, start on concrete tasks from our backlog, and quickly move on to owning whole features and areas of the product, from idea and design to deploy and follow-up with customers.

Example tasks

Designing and building new features across frontend and backend
Building and maintaining APIs and third-party integrations
Implementing financial calculations and data processing in Python
Working on iXBRL/XBRL generation and validation
Building AI functionality and LLM-powered features into the product
Fixing bugs and improving the product based on customer feedback
Writing tests, improving code quality and keeping the platform reliable in production
Taking part in code reviews, architecture discussions and product decisions

We imagine that you

Have recently completed, or are about to complete, a degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, engineering or something similar
Have solid experience with Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript from studies, a student job or personal projects
Are comfortable with Git and a pull request based workflow
Are curious and quick to find your way around a new codebase
Use AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot) as a natural part of your work, and stay critical of what they produce
Take responsibility for things actually working in production, not just on your machine
Want to understand the customer's problem, not only the ticket
Communicate clearly in English (Danish is a plus)

It's a plus if you have experience with

Svelte/SvelteKit, React or other modern frontend frameworks
FastAPI, Polars, Pandas or similar
REST APIs, OAuth and integrations
Docker, Kubernetes or cloud platforms
LLMs, AI agents or machine learning
Accounting, finance, XBRL or B2B SaaS

We care more about how you think and solve problems than about you knowing everything from day one.
